Hellas
Technology Farm (Hellas TF) is founded by a group of professionals who understand the needs for
safe and sustainable food. We want to do our best in caring for the ocean, we want people to
join the food production industry and see its potential as entrepreneurs. We want to provide the
best and most transparent process of food to people. Hellas Technology Farm not only focuses on
seawater and freshwater brewing species, but also infinitely scalable Indoor Recirculation
Aquaculture System (IRAS) and Controlled Production. Hellas believes that the faster we use
technology to enhance our food quality, the better it is for our world.
We specialise in seawater and freshwater farming in closed systems that fully correspond to the
idea of sustainable development and responsible production, allowing us to minimise the negative
impact on the environment and assure the optimum condition and welfare of the fish. It is a
specific response to the constantly growing demand on fish and fish products, as well as the
shrinking natural fish resources in the oceans. It is also our commitment to provide a more
detailed nutrition breakdown so that people are more aware of the types of fish that they
consume.
Hellas Technology Farm is the most modern and technologically advanced IRAS farm situated in
Malaysia. Our facilities boost equipment and technology components derived from Denmark,
Australia, Norway, Korea, and Japan. With a group of engineers and marine biologists who care
for humans and the earth alike, we strive to lead the industry in achieving excellence in terms
of targeting production and brewing stock. We are working together with the New Era Vocational
Institute Aquaculture Lab in developing systematic and scientific methods applicable to the IRAS
farm, as well as research methodology and results obtained from thorough analysis of the farm
operations. These will undoubtedly contribute towards the development of intensive aquaculture,
both in Malaysia and Asia.
All this is just the beginning. The Hellas roadmap allows people to join in the complete
production process up till food preparation, making our products accessible and affordable to
more and more people. Ultimately, we want to enhance the entire production chain and
products—that’s the future we are looking forward to.
Our
indoor recirculating aquaculture system-based facility designed and built by the company
in Malaysia. This facility serves as our R&D and training center, giving us the
unique capability of rapidly developing our land-based indoor aquaculture solutions.
We are currently conducting trials with a whole range of advanced technologies, aiming
to create a complete ecosystem that incorporates a variety of different technologies
into recirculating aquaculture system technology to further streamline the process,
reduce operating costs, and reduce the carbon footprint of each future installation. We
are already growing multi fish species in one system at this facility. These are
exciting times in the field of aquaculture, especially advanced recirculating
aquaculture systems, with new technologies increasingly being deployed to enhance the
entire process.
Leveraging cutting-edge technologies and tailoring them to the needs of the industry
ensures that recirculating aquaculture system installations of the future will be more
sustainable, delivering improved efficiency and productivity, and reducing costs while
enhancing fish quality.
